Frequently Asked Questions
What do the colours mean?
Each fixture is coloured on a 1-5 scale from green (easiest) through lime, yellow, and orange, to red (hardest). It’s the same idea as the difficulty ratings you’ll see on the official FPL site, just colour-coded so you can scan a team’s whole run at a glance.
How is the difficulty worked out?
We use the official difficulty rating the FPL itself assigns to every fixture, based on the strength of both teams. It’s the same rating you’d see in the official app, just laid out here across as many gameweeks as you want to look at.
What does the gameweek slider do?
It controls how many upcoming gameweeks are shown and averaged for the sort, anywhere from just the next fixture up to the next 10. Looking a couple of gameweeks ahead is usually more useful than just the next match, since a team’s run can turn kind or difficult over a short stretch.
What does “Best First” and “Worst First” sort by?
Every team’s average difficulty across however many gameweeks the slider is set to. Best First puts the kindest run of fixtures at the top, Worst First flips it, so you can quickly spot teams worth targeting or avoiding for transfers.
How often is the data updated?
Our FPL fixture planner live and refreshed every day.
Does this account for injuries or team news?
No, this is purely about the fixtures themselves, how tough each opponent is on paper. It doesn’t factor in injuries, suspensions, or team news, so it’s best used alongside our weekly form + fixture picks rather than on its own.
Why do some teams show fewer fixtures than others?
That usually means you’re looking near the edge of the currently scheduled fixture list, or a team has a blank gameweek coming up with no match at all. It’ll fill back in as the fixture list gets confirmed further ahead.
